การเลือกกรงที่มีขนาดถูกต้องเป็นหนึ่งในข้อกำหนดสำคัญของสายการบิน หากกรงมีขนาดเล็กเกินไป อาจถูกปฏิเสธการเดินทางได้ ก่อนเลือกกรง ควรวัดขนาดสัตว์เลี้ยงดังนี้ Choosing the correct crate size is one of the most critical airline requirements. If the crate is too small, boarding may be refused. Please measure your pet as follows before selecting a crate.

    ความยาวจากปลายจมูกถึงโคนหาง Length from nose tip to tail base
  • B
    ความสูงจากข้อศอกถึงพื้น Elbow to ground height
  • C
    ความกว้างบริเวณไหล่หรือส่วนที่กว้างที่สุดของลำตัว Shoulder width (widest part of body)
  • D
    ความสูงจากพื้นถึงปลายหูหรือจุดที่สูงที่สุดของศีรษะขณะยืน Standing height to ear tips or head peak

สูตรคำนวณขนาดกรงขั้นต่ำตามมาตรฐาน IATAIATA Minimum Crate Size Formula

  • ความยาวกรง = A + (B ÷ 2) Crate Length = A + (B ÷ 2)
  • ความกว้างกรง = C × 2 Crate Width = C × 2
  • ความสูงกรง = D หรือมากกว่า Crate Height = D or more
